JIM GOODIN

I became inspired to return to photography when I came to realize three years ago that ‘film’, ‘light falling on silver halides’ of a photographic emulsion, analog photography as it’s now termed, did not die. I decided that I wanted to explore areas I didn’t get around to the first time in the 80’s when I primarily worked in 35mm and occasionally 120. I always wanted to delve in large format and so in the winter of 2021 I purchased a 52 year old 4x5 view camera and began figuring it out. Through not having a wide angle lens at the time, the need led me to add pinhole to my palette and I began making my own cameras.
